Pupil Premium

The government gives the school additional funding known as Pupil Premium for certain  groups of children. Please see the document below for further information

Pupil Premium Funding 2016 – 2017

Our pupil premium allocation for 2016 – 2017 was £7,740. This was used to enable pupil attendance at Breakfast Club, After School Clubs, School Trips and to participate in Music Exams. The majority aided the school in providing a Learning Support Assistant who supported disadvantaged pupils at school, ensuring that they made progress at least in line with their peers.

The impact of this funding on targeted children is as follows:

  • Improved social skills
  • Accelerated progress in reading, writing and maths
  • Increased confidence and improved self esteem
