Pupil Premium Funding 2016 – 2017

We track all our pupils’ progress very carefully and are aware of the barriers to learning for our disadvantaged children. With this in mind we provide specific support or interventions as needed. The impact of these is reviewed at least termly, but the school maintains close oversight of our disadvantaged children and will adjust any interventions accordingly.

Our pupil premium allocation for 2016 – 2017 was £7,740.

Detailed information is available from the school and made available as appropriate.

Examples of spending are on pupil attendance at Breakfast Club, After School Clubs, School Trips and to participate in Music Exams. The majority aided the school in providing a Learning Support Assistant who supported disadvantaged pupils at school. Detailed information is available from the school and made available as appropriate.

The impact of this funding on targeted children is as follows:

  • Improved social skills
  • Improved progress in reading, writing and maths
  • Increased confidence and improved self esteem
